"Act your age" or "Grow up" are some phrases people need to stop saying. Like, what the hell is someone my age supposed to act like? Like I've gained omniscience and have life figured out? Like having fun is a crime? Is it illegal to pull pranks once you've become a functioning adult? Should I always walk around with a RBF and not have something to be happy about? No one really knows how to act their age. We're either mimicking what we see or fitting into society's mould of unspoken rules. I don't wanna.
