Blue skies reign, victorious over inferior weathers,
white, sandy beaches stretch on for farther than you can see -
farther than you can imagine...
Palm trees sway in the gentle breeze;
the wind isn't strong, simply pleasant, simply perfect,
everything is perfect, from the sky to the the sand,
and that's how I know I'm asleep.

I shiver.
I feel my throat - slit.
Blood unfurls like velvet, maybe one day to be sewn into something new...
if only I'd have lived, I could have made it so.
I grasp a handful of snow with numb hands
and hold it upon my burning wound as if it can save me
though... I know nothing can. It's too late.
Red snow falls clumsily, as my hand does too,
while fresh snow falls, daintily,
as if sent to shroud my corpse,
