@bunnybear, do you do brazilian jiu-jitsu or something else? also, grey is a kids rank, and other gyms have different kids ranks because in bjj, you can't get the next adult belt until you're 16.

striking? like... hitting? we normally start with an attack, then build up a technique and link to other things that we've learned. attacks can be hits, yes, if that's what you mean?
@bunnybear, yeah, striking=hitting. in brazilian jj, there is NO striking, but there is in japanese. bjj is more like wrestling, kind of. (chokes, armbars, throws, etc)
