I'm at this point where I want to read slowly because it's the last chapter coming up. Which also makes my heart beat fast cause there's just one chapter left and I don't know if that's long enough to close everything. Maybe you wouldn't close it the way I would have thought you would but I have a feeling there's going to be a hole in my heart after reading this. Like I've lost friends or something.
I love this chapter - maybe a little bit more than the rest - but perhaps it's because I now knew what the meaning behind the colour of darkness was (which was excellent, in my opinion on how you execute the whole thing with the painting). The part where they were all reminiscing about Nova's dad made me sad and it felt overwhelming with the emotions that was poured in the story. I thought you did a very excellent job at this one, @Andrew Knight :')
The first time Nova endeared herself to me was when she threw herself at her stepmom. It's probably because I'm a mom so my initial reaction was to tear up and go "aw! Sweet baby!" ....but that's because I'm a parent and I'm weird.
i really love the parallel you have drawn between Nova and her dad. I feel like this chapter really did their relationship justice.
Also Puck and Rick are adorable. I just love them.
This chapter was very difficult to write. As youve stated, it took me a long time to figure out how to put their relationship into words and to truly do it justice. I also aimed to give some final insight into what makes Nova, well, Nova. Some people love her, some hate her, and no one can say she's borring or predictable.
She's extremely well fleshed out. The fact that she elicits either hate or love shows you have giving her real depth as a character. I say bravo and I can't stand her haha (:
