Superb! Love that he's starting to unveil some things from his past even though he's still mysterious as ever. I like that about his character. Also, the whole village burning part and her emotions omg that felt real, like the way her emotions were being scripted. It was tragic what happened to the village but I hope her family and even friends are saved and were not sacrificed in the fire.
Also, that moment when he looked back at the village and Wren saw the raw pain in his eyes which most likely reminded him of his own empire was really sad (there's an excerpt of Litania's diary which said she knew the truth, but one that's horrible and tragic) and it hinted of something that happened terribly. It hinted a terrible sadness to it even though the whole thing isn't being revealed yet that I don't know how to take that in. Like, curious to know but also scared to want to know, even though you're probably gonna reveal it later (I mean you have to right) ahhh I'll quit rambling cause I'm probably not making much sense now :p
The whole dream, and the last paragraph in Lorca's words, that's just wow. No wonder he's cautious because of course, they are something untouchable but precious. I hope nothing happens to them (and his and her clan) though >.<
That aside, I totally freaking love this story and even though there's a few mistakes (like missing letters in the past couple chapters), it's pretty much flawless to me and I can't wait for the next chapters!!!
