OMG OMG OMG OMG WHAAAAAT JUST HAPPENED OMGIHADKSLLDH
OKAY. First of ALL, I was surprised but also kind of a little glad about Marcus showing up. I had thought he was somewhat part of the plan but then the moment he said he was innocent and how they cast him out without caring, well that was just painful and sad. Poor Marcus. And then I get a glimpse of how he lived during his ancient mortal times with his brother (how ignorant and greedy they had been somehow) and then Motep's little story :/
I had thought Alexander would be grieving about him and all, but then it's said that he was trying to forget Marcus. Mixed feelings cause like he knows Marcus has been sent to Tartarus and stuff and maybe wants to move on from being sad about it but at the same time, is his affection for his bro that shallow? Also, the moment Marcus rolled his eyes and said to Fay he knew how his brother was kinda sealed the deal. I kinda am mad that Alexander doesn't seem to want to fight for some justice on his brother's behalf, they both now seem selfish and I don't really feel bad for them now, although a little sad.
But he freaking stabbed Fay, though!! So here's what I'm thinking, either he was brainwashed by this Eris (isn't she this scheming goddess who also played a role in Andromeda's plan once an ancient time ago?) I don't know how to feel about her, since nothing really good happens when she's involved.
And how in the world (or underworld) did he get his hands on the copy of Hades' sword anyway??
Still, the highlight of this chapter, apart from Marcus and Fay slight encounter, was ANDROMEDA AND AMON, AND ALSO HADES' PART. Like wow, she was so fearless and determined and strong that she managed to look like the heroine (I mean for the most part, she does since this is also part of her story) but when she threatened and froze Hades, I was like yoooo what is going on?? Just what power did she possessed and what is she really??
Her message sounded like it's the pivotal point of what would lead eventually though. She's finishing the war Zeus declared on her.
My favourite, though, was when Andromeda and Amon were about to leave, and they exchanged those words and then he kissed her hard like omg I've been waiting for some action between these two!!! Those parts down to the last bits of this chapter got me pretty shook :O <3 <3
P.S I feel like even though Andromeda threatened Hades, I think he secretly admired the mortal's bravery, and perhaps seeing those fearless trait in Fay pretty much made him favour or admire her more.
