This is really fucked up. I'm glad I read it. At first I thought it was a bit cliche with all that family trouble and social worker business. But it wasn't. I like how I didn't know what was actually going on until the end. I enjoyed reading it ;)

Hehe, that first sentence is what a lot of friends use to describe me and/or my writing xD. Glad you liked it :)

I really enjoyed this. I'm a sucker for short horror stories, and this was a good one. I like your writing voice and your almost logical-sounding style. It reminds me very much of Stephen King's writing style, especially that in his "Misery". The vocabulary choices you made make it sound both natural and intelligent, as if in a speech-like narration.I like how it progresses gradually until it is seemingly sudden. I like how the ending leaves you with a sense of what happened, but not enough for the conclusion to be more than vague and fleeting. I'm sorry if I'm just rambling on, but the point is that I really liked this. It's very nice. :)

Wow, thanks very much! I'm glad you enjoyed it :) The ending was intentionally ambiguous; I myself find horror far more unsettling when things are left slightly unknown. Thanks for reading!
