Nice summary and getting a good insight about the flu. Small typo at the beginning, commonest = most common Keep it up! ^.^ I've done some "amateur" research in psychology, Parkinson and Reynaud's disease if you need some help or info. ;-)
Hi Fiona, nice to meet you, and thanks for the comment. I appreciate it. Indeed, “commonest” is a word, the same as “most common”, so it wasn’t a typo; I prefer the former. What some brilliant and exciting topics that you have researched. Neurology and psychology are great fields. I think I would write some articles about Parkinson’s disease someday. So, feel free to place your comments.
@AIKEN, That with commonest, I didn't know. Must be getting old fashioned ^.^' As for psychology and Parkinson, ask when you need it. I know some personal experience (friends & family circle) and hence can give some good examples. I use it sometimes on fictional characters to get a different perspective. Cheers! ^.^
@FionaDaydreamer, That’s quite alright. Must be challenging to have someone in your life with Parkinson‘s disease and mental health problems. Unimaginable, and undoubtedly heartbreaking. I guess we all write about our experiences and the people/things that we care and hold most dear. Good luck with your writing.
What a detailed introduction to the flu! I have learned there's influenza A and B from the news, but never had a chance to study the details and differences between then. It must be a difficult winter this year......since COVID is still out there and the flu is coming back again......
Hi Setsuna, thank you very much for your comment. I appreciate it. This year is indeed more challenging than in previous years, as we are still in the COVID-19 pandemic. Since people are wearing facial masks and maintaining social distancing, and people are more likely to visit the clinic even with just mild flu-like symptoms, the severity and complications also reduced. It is also recommended to all people to be vaccinated for influenza this year as influenza infection can increase the morbidity and mortality of COVID-19 complications.

Keep it up! ^.^
