Nice, you figured out the inspiration X'D She'll be your biblically-accurate Latvian angel, lmao
Side note, but her wingtips actually angle at those metal bolts and lock together tip-to-tip, forming dual axe-blades. The pole then extends behind her back, and she wields her wing-axe like a force of nature (^-^)d
@The Yobanashi Girouette, I read that first sentence and was like, “MY biblically accurate Latvian angel? You’re gifting me a biblically accurate Latvian angel to keep — oh wait that’s not what you meant; frick me” lmao
Also how do you come up with that. How does your brain come up with that creative stuff. Give me your brain juice; there must be something in it
@Cheeto, X'D everyone needs a biblically-accurate Latvian angel-girl.
And honestly, bouncing ideas of Nor is a huge part of it. Summer_BRYZ went through quite the design revamp from her OG design (which you can see in the BRYZ character art). Other than that, it's just sleep deprivation :P
@The Yobanashi Girouette, it would cure at least half my problems lmao
Also — OK so I don’t have a Nor to bounce ideas off of (or any artist or friend for that matter) but I’m sleep deprived! That should’ve given me at least some sort of good idea by now :P
CORRECTION: everyone *except you didn’t enjoy it because you were mostly the only very avid reader of SAPS, sans one other person. (that sentence actually sounds harsher than it’s supposed to be, sorry.) I don’t think anyone else enjoyed it lmao. And even if I was the only one not enjoying it, that would be fine. If the author doesn’t like what they’re writing, then the trash is a valid option. (And really, I think I secretly hated S-APS to the point where working on it made me severely unmotivated at times — and not just in writing. it could affevt everything else. Also my self esteem somehow rocked up just a bit when I quit SAPS. That book was down bad for me lmfao.) [Sorry for the rant btw. I feel like I need a soapbox and a speech whenever someone says SAPS didn’t flop. You can enjoy it, but it most certainly did flop; that’s one thing I will consistently stand by.]
And yeah, it probably isn’t healthy. I still don’t know how to get ideas tho; they kinda just come whenever lol.
@Cheeto, I mean, you got the likes, my dude X'D But I can't judge you for deleting it, I deleted my first two drafts of BRYZ two (except, I still have the original documents). And don't worry, I didn't read that as harsh :P
Glad your self esteem went up on purging it though, I guess that alone makes it worth it.
And, ah, side note, I really don't think "down bad" means what you thing it means, lmfao...
"'Down bad' is the feeling of being so attracted to someone. You almost feel depressed that you two aren't together. But it's mostly used to refer to basic feelings of longing, desperation, sadness, depression and loneliness."
...Unless S-APS had a long-standing unrequited crush on you...? :3
broooo I always check what a word means before I use it because I’m scared I’ma use it wrong but I was so sure I knew what down-bad meant so I just went and used it and now my worst nightmare came true and now I used it wrong—
Friiiiiiiick. That’s not what I meant. If SAPS was a person and they told me they had a crush on me, I’d run. Like a sane human.
Aside from that — Tbh the likes felt a bit pointless because I knew the book was so shit.
And yeah, I think about 30% my ruts and bad moods were because I was working my ass off on SAPS and I hated every minute of it. Thank goodness it’s outta the way now
@Cheeto, I'm so sorry X'D I know that feel too well.
I do need to make a meme of this at some point though :P
And I guess it's a half-full, half-empty thing. Sir Arthur Conan Doyle HATED that everyone knew him for Sherlock, but yet nearly a century later, that's still what he's most famous for. Despite his misgivings though, think of all the people that enjoyed Sherlock, and the countless other works it's inspired.
Still, at the end of the day, deleting it's a small price to pay for a better headspace, especially if it leads you to better writing (^-^)d

Also, you came up with APS, that's gotta count for something!
I need more idea brain juice
But don't worry about it, you'll find your method/muse. Mine probably isn't a very healthy one, and definitely not one I should recommend :P
(that sentence actually sounds harsher than it’s supposed to be, sorry.)

And tbh Sir Conan Doyle is a big mood and a half if that was his thought process.
Also yeah; my headspace is still a mess and needs a shitton of moving around, but SAPS is at least off my shoulders.
And yup X'D Here's a good article on it: https://knowledgenuts.com/arthur-conan-doyle-didnt-care-much-for-sherlock-holmes/
And hey, one less problem, right?
also holy crap I just read the article. He got attacked for that? Jeez…
y a y :D
