I don't really know how to express myself right now... This story, that is written in the form of a poem, is actually pointing out a very crucial aspect in the world where drunk husbands are dominating their wives' love and respect for them and it's quite a disturbing yet normal thing that has been going on for centuries.

You really brought out all the feels and emotions of a woman whose been sidetracked by the person she loves. It is wonderfully portrayed in the form of words that actually grips the reader in the reality of the world.

In the end, a very realistic and amazing poem and keep up the good work! Thank you for participating:)

Hey, thank you for sharing your thoughts! I don't know how I got the inspiration to write this poem. But it has definitely become close to my heart. I decided to write about one sided love, but I wanted to talk about the more subtle ways in which a lover faces rejection and the repercussions of the same. I appreciate you holding this contest so that I could broadcast this aspect of love on a platform. Thanks for hosting this contest!
