I enjoyed reading this so far. It's a nice change reading someone else's work for once. I like how it's from a first POV. You put just enough exposition in it where it wasn't overbearing, but enough to keep me reading. Bravo!

You make great use of short, fast-paced sentences. You also provide just enough information in the introduction that makes the reader want to keep reading. It's not too much, yet not too little. It's just enough.
This story is written with a confidence that you know where it's going, and the reader has to trust you along this journey.

I had meant to read this when NaNoWriMo began but I never got around to it. I'm glad that I finally am reading it! The prologue is a great start, you certainly have my attention. There's great sense of atmosphere and you can really feel the gravity of what's about to come. I shall read more!
