The story was kind of boring at first but it got good as I kept reading... the diction is good, perhaps too good, makes it hard for me to understand whats going on in the story...
what I'm basically getting is that... The older daughter is next to be queen but doesn't want to be...she either takes the role now or it will go to her younger sister... that seemed to be the situation so far...
The only characters that seem to stand out are the queen and her two daughters
I also like how the rest of the side characters aren't so thrilled about having to work... makes the story rather realistic... in the form of comedy
As far as the characters, they will develop as the plot does so again I hope you bear with me.

1. The fact that Melanie argues her mom for forcing the crown on her.
2. Mom sounds like she hates her husband.
3. Stevens felt so sad for losing his dad. (So he is Melanie's brother? I hope I'm not wrong).
I look forward to knowing the reason of these 3 important points that I assume are caused by the same reason.
It's very exciting!
