I'd like to think that my life was relatively normal, but then I'd lying to my self. Everything about my life was far from normal and that was a problem. You see, when you have something special, people tend to call you out on it and that was what I was going through right now. Each day, it would be one traitor or the other. Once, it was my best friend, the other time it was my own brother, but I have to deal with it.
It was when I entered my seventeenth year that I noticed something was wrong. The air tasted funny, and no one was at home when I woke up. On a normal day, I would've loved a day home alone, but like I said earlier, thinking my life was normal would be lying to myself. And I would also be lying to others if I made them think the same.
By the next hour, things started to get really weird. I was glowing. The light that was radiating off my body was blinding and I was scared. I tried reaching out for my phone, but when I reached out to touched it, it burned, melted plastic burning my hand.
And that was when it all changed.
