Raven Flintlock, also known as Eternal King of the Under City and Legendary Hero of Fin is checking on things in Hardsunder Dock. The dock is one of the major harbours in Longthorn, one of the biggest trading cities in all of Fin. Even in the dead of the night the harbour is bustling with cargo ships dropping off and taking goods all across Fin. Acacia is a lady who will stop at nothing to keep her harbour running smoothly and has five sons who are always on hand to help. Most outsiders do not like the way he seems to just appear, for his heavy boots make no sound on the wooden walkways and his use of magic is beyond anything anyone has ever seen before.

The captain quickly escorts his esteemed guest to his ship which looks tiny compared to the large cargo ships alongside it. Once aboard he makes sure his guest is seated within his cabin and gets his men to return to the spot where they saw the creature.805Please respect copyright.ＰＥＮＡＮＡWCg6WgfD9d
Inside the cabin Raven finds the illumination stone too bright for his sensitive eyes, that are more accustomed to the dark, so with one wave his left hand the once bright light dims and once his eyes have adjusted to the gloom he notices Sage’s desk is covered in maps. He takes a closer look to discover they are sea charts of the best routes for the small ship to pass through, for Raven knows himself some of the seas around Fin can be deadly for anything this size. Suddenly, the small vessel begins to rock quite badly as she makes her way across the waves and from experience the legend knows they are crossing a section known as the Sidewinder for it has a tenancy to push ships from side to side and if they are not careful make them head for Black Cove Cliffs that surround an uninhabited island. Raven draws his left hand up towards chest as he starts to utter a spell two of his fingers extend towards his chin. After a few minutes he throws his hand down to the deck and the moment his fingertips come into contact with the planks an incantation shoots out around him. A few seconds later the deck within the centre of the incantation turns to an ash like consistency and out of it rises a giant claw. Each of its fingers are decorated with simple gold and green jade rings. Once the creature is save within its master’s arm the claw starts to crumble away. Raven pays it no attention for he is too busy looking at the casualty. “I was right, it is a baby. The other elves see the dragon has a deep cut to the top of its right eye and one on its side is looking like it could be infected. The Head Healer, a Snow Elf by the name of Lady Méiguī (Rose) is just settling down for the night when a loud bang of the front door slamming into the wall comes from downstairs and one of her ladies is calling, “Raven, bring it in here.” This makes her quickly go and investigate what is going on. “Ah, I will fetch some fresh Cooper,” responds Raven, trotting out of the room. He heads to the marketplace to grab a basket of the fish and heads back to the intermarry. The other Healers help by opening the creature’s mouth, even at this size a baby dragon has razor sharp teeth so Raven has to be careful placing the fish inside. The Sea Dragon manages to eat the small fish, then opens his mouth for another and waits for the same soft, husky man’s voice to tell him to eat. The legend returns to the docks and makes his way down to the end of the shore where he goes on to unleash a flare to get the Sea Dragon’s who live in the west sea attention. It is not long before he is hearing his good friend Wēi míng's silvery voice, “Raven, darling, what is the matter?” The hero goes on to inform him about the baby and his friend explains, “I am afraid the parent would not even try and retrieve him from such a dangerous spot. Dusk is a handsome wingless Vern who has fiery red skin that glistens like rose gold in the sunlight, shoulder length, jet black hair that has a metallic blue shine to it. He always dresses in a purple coat that has copper shoulder guards and black trousers. His boots are also covered in copper. Dusk’s long tail pokes out from the split in the back of his coat, it wraps itself around Raven’s waist pulling him close and he plays around, “You kept that quiet, darling. For over the next few days they take it in turns to take care of the little Sea Dragon who is soon well enough to return to the water. Xiāo decides to stick close to the shoreline and takes one of the caves as his home. Wēi míng keeps to his word and becomes his mentor and when he is old enough teaches him how to transform into a human. Well kind of, they still have their long horns, scaly skin and their deep ocean blue eyes. Xiāo finds it to be great fun to go around on two legs, which is tricky at first, but he soon gets to grips with it. Raven and Dusk always make sure he has everything he needs for his cave, from nice shells to plenty of soft white sand to bed down on.
