I've been a little quiet on here lately - IRL intruding.
Last night I wrote a very short story on meetings -- horrible things I get trapped in all too often with my day job. https://robertbatten.net/2016/09/27/on-meetings-a-very-short-story/

The novel re-write continues with another 2.5 chapters re-done / edited last week. I've now re-written almost 20k words. Approx 1/3 of the way through the novel!

Some minor refinements to Human Resources today as I edit things for a competition entry. New technology introduced to the end of "Mission Report" (http://www.penana.com/story/8327/human-resources/issue/3) as I try to improve the end of that chapter (it is a sci-fi after all).
