"Iris...You actually freezed me." He said with that irritated face.

I stepped inside with a deep breath.

"Momma! Why're you packing your stuff?" Little me asked.

(I hid behind the curtain)

"Athenia. Hurry we need to get out of here."

"Why mom?"

"Let's go picnic, dear."

"Picnic? But it's gonna raining."

"W-well we'll g-get to play in the rain."

"Really?"

"Y-yeah. Come on, quickly." She said while looking back time to time.

"Mhm."

"Go bring you umbrella."

After 5 minute.

"I'm back. Can we go to the local park?"

"Ah, About that, let's go...to the forest. I'm sure you'd love it."

"Forest. Okay!"

She pulled my hand and rushed down."

"Mom, you're too fast."

"I'm sorry."

Why the hell was mum in such a hurry? I need to follow them.

"Where are you going? Iris?" Alfran shouted.

"I need to follow them."

"Unfreeze me now."

"I don't know how to."

"Just say ``Unfreeze, Done."

"Unfre..Mom is getting away. I need to follow her."

"Iris.."

I didn't care about anything, I just ran, following her. Everything went mute for a second, the sound of fainted rain, the birds scattering here and there and my footsteps.

Mom stopped in front of a huge tree.

"Athenia, Stay here and don't move until I come."

"But are we not playing together?"

"I have some work to handle. I'll be right back."

"Mom...Is there something you're hiding?"

"N-NO."

"What is it? Why are you being secretive?"

"You were quite clever."

"Alfran..why are you here? I mean how did you come here?" I whispered .

"By walking."

"Funny..."

"Athy, I can't be with you for long. I'm in danger. Remember 2 things. Firstly, Be alive. And secondly, behind the cave of Lethia, lies the hidden power. Get it in my stead. Keep it safe within your care and don't, let the evil have it." She said this before she broke out in tear.

Holding my hands as if she won't see them again. Her eyes were red, as if she cried all day. Why didn't I remember any of this?

"Iris?"

"Ah."

"I told you. Don't get too emotional or else we'd be in trouble." He said.

" I know."

Suddenly I felt the ground shaking.

"Alfran, is...the ground shaking?"

"It's alright."

"Mom..what is happening?"

"Athenia. Stay behind the tree and if someone comes looking here, just run as fast as you can."

"Mom, something feels wrong. Why are you crying? Say something."

"I-They are here, Athy run."

"But-" "just run."

Mom ran toward the opposite direction. While I ran as she said.

I ran to follow her. I wanted to know more. Hiding behind some tree I saw them...the type of clothes they wore and the stuff they were holding looked familiar. Where did I see them?

They grabbed mom's hand and took her inside something. Mother was begging them for something. Why? I walked a little bit ahead before somebody grabbed my hands.

"WHO IS IT." I pulled my hands and said.

"Relax it's me."

"The time is almost over, we need to go back."

"But mom?"

"This is your past. Even if you see her now, there is nothing you can do."

"Why? I wanna know more."

"From here onwards it's not connected to your memory."

"Can't you do something."

"Iris, we need to go."

"But...I-I" Before I knew it, I was already crying.

"This...is bad. No, no,no. Iris stop crying."

But it was hard to control, everything was so confusing. I wanted to help mom but I couldn't. My only family...
