Legend of the Hook Man

Anna arrived at the Lover's Lane spot of the cold woods.

'The weather is 78 degrees', Paul said.

'Hot'.

'Not too hot'.

'No', Anna said.

Paul smiled.

'This is Lover's Lane'.

'There were several deaths of teenagers over the last four years. Sheriff Earl Martinson said: "Over the last couple of years, all of the teenagers have been attacked by the Hook Man. He doesn't exist. He is an Urban Legend. Nothing more; nothing less. As a result, there is a patrol overnight. My father is a police officer; my Mom is a legal secretary'.

'Mom is a sorority house House Mother at Delta Delta'.

'You want to be in a sorority?'.

'Yes. Tomorrow is Bid Day'.

Suddenly there was the sound of footsteps.

'Someone's here'.

"Who?'.

The shadow of the Hook Man appeared.

He smiled.

He grabbed the hook on his right hand.

Anna yelled, and looked for a weapon.

A knife was in the mud.

She picked it up, and stabbed at the Hook Man's left hand. He screamed, and it fell near her feet.

'Call the Sheriff', Anna said.

'Okay. There's a phone booth nearby', Paul said.

The Sheriff spoke.

'The killer will be apprehended soon. You can trust me'.

He waited for the Hook Man.

When he arrived, he started shooting.

The killer's body fell next to his feet.

In his right hand was a hook.

The nightmare had ended.
