I've always been proud that I'm aware during my nightmares. When shit starts to go wrong, I'm like, "Oh, this is a dream. Let's have fun". Then I give myself superpowers or weapons, and the nightmare turns into a cool action scene.
Except nightmares with volcanoes.
When I was 6, for a whole year, I had the same reoccurring dream: a volcano erupting and trapping us at home. I haven't seen a volcano erupt in person, and the closest ones are 20 miles away.
Those dreams frighten and depress me. I had one last night...
