On a Wednesday of ashes my heart was healed

In a cold March I vowed never to see you again.

But still I fear the waters of my heart will make me see

What no longer must be, for what I was

If we kissed, it would be nostalgia gone backward

If we danced, it would be steps backward

We did not make moorings in aspirations

Nor in priorities, all lost and scattered

Memories are tears with you

Though they twinkle like shooting stars

Flowered of time

If we move, it would be slips backwards

We made no ties in aspirations
