So, Kira wasn’t as bad as I made her out to be. She and Harley are the cutest, and I don’t normally like couples. Eww . . . One summer day, we were sitting in the woods, talking about our summer plans.
“We should go to Disney World,” Kira said.
“That’s in Orlando,” I said. “We’re in Miami.”
“I think we should just stick with the beach then,” Harley said. We laughed.
Suddenly, I felt queasy. A weird feeling ran through my arms. I instantly stood up. “Uh, g-guys?”
“Alex, are you ok?” Harley asked. He helped me sit back down.
“What’s happening to me?” I asked. Suddenly, lightning struck out of my hands. Not onto my hands-- out of my hands. Once it stopped, we were breathless and speechless.
“What was that!?” I exclaimed.
“Alex . . . I think you’re powerpassed!” Kira said.
