1897年
初代吸血鬼獵人範•海星（Van•Helsing）終於抓住了世界上第一隻吸血鬼盧爾卡達（Lurcada）。但範•海星卻無法終結不死者之王那可悲的永生。木樁、火焰、流動的聖銀甚至直接曝曬於陽光之下，然而在經歷短暫的死亡後，惡魔卻能再一次復活。不得已，範•海星只好在盧爾卡達身上設下多層禁制，讓其成為自己家族世世代代的僕人。直到遇上第五代範•海星後，兩人似乎不再是簡單的主僕關係………
