數十年前的獸人戰爭，獸人敗亡，獸人從此於世界上「暫時」銷聲匿跡。

現在，人類面臨到少子化所帶來的缺工危機，基因改造公司「紅瞳企業」改造獸人基因，讓人類也能夠化身獸人，紅瞳始成為全球最大型的企業，而他們所聘雇，以各種型態適應不同勞動場域的獸人，則成為他們的高級(薪)奴工。

他們是獸人，但是，更多人類則喜歡稱他們為「怪物」。

獸人長期以來活在歧視與偏見，他們是不被人類接受的種族，這是屬於他們的故事。
