Appearance
The endermen are evolved forms of the Ancient Aulora, bent into their current shape from millennia of feeding on chorus fruit and living in the strange landscape of the end.
Hostility:
Endermen generally turn hostile when looked at, this is because of a deep shame and hate for their outward appearance. they assume anyone who looks at them is disgusted and they don't like to be judged so they kill those that look at them.
Exceptions:
There are a few rare exceptions to the endermen's nature, however. some will willingly interact with the people and creatures of the overworld, most of which have worked past the indignation they felt at their own bodies.
