BLOG #1  -  7/26/16

   Well, this would be my first blog here. I joined yesterday, getting to know more about Penana today. I really like it here, a friendly and welcoming community seems to inhabit this place and I really like that. I love the way it's set up and I'm honestly glad I found it. Like I stated in my bio, I got my start on Wattpad back in 2012 but as the years passed I grew, so did my tastes, and Wattpad was no longer the small site it was as it got attention and changed as much as it did. Some of my fondest memories are held there but I also think that's why I had such an awful case of writer's block for the time that I did. I needed a change of pace, something new, something fresh to explore and get into, and this really is the place I hoped to find. I miss the past, not Wattpad itself. It's not really just the huge changes that have been made there, I saw a lot of my friends and other people that were a great part of the community slowly becoming inactive one by one. I mean, I had over 2,000 followers there and I honestly felt like only 10 of them were left in the end, those being mostly friends. Of course, I haven't deleted my account because I can't bring myself too, but posting something there is a pretty rare occurrence. I do still get notifications of people following me now and then, to my surprise. I see some indecent stories there now and fewer and fewer original, mature, or quality pieces of literature unless it's from actual authors; otherwise, it's hard to find.

Either way, I'm happy to be here! Like I mentioned on my profile, I am a fan of the Warriors series and I'll probably have a separate blog about that, and you can also expect some other things, like fanfiction, short stories, and art because I do so love to draw, especially cats, as ironic as that is. I've always been great with animals, not so much with humans, but I'm sure with practice I'll get there, as with anything. Though my focus will be on more serious books and the like.

I'll probably blog once or twice a week, and it'll most likely be on random topics or thoughts and ideas. Just whatever I feel like talking about, I suppose. So if you happen to be bored or even interested in what I have to say, read on!

My typical blogs will most likely be longer than this, I'm still getting the hang of Penana. Right then, I'll get back to it! My next blog actually might be sometime later today, if anyone's even reading this. Expect to learn a little bit about me!
