鄧泰思本來是一個年輕有為的金融才俊，對他而言在這獅子山下的小城將是其光輝人生的起點。

但在2000年的一次菲律賓公幹中，他被當地警察拘捕，公司的機密文件入面全是冰毒，含冤入獄的他在牢房中遇見正在掘地道逃獄的利教授。

經過分析和推理後，察覺自己是被至親陷害的鄧泰思下定決心復仇，結合智慧和機遇的他逃離牢獄後回到香港，得到獅子山上的寶藏後化身獅子山伯爵，向仇人們展開最猛厲的復仇，但是過程中他也經歷了很多。

擁有家財萬貫的他其實放棄復仇，即可過上畢生衣食無憂的寫意生活，其實那些仇人只對他而言是仇人，對其他人來說卻是恩人…每個人對於每個人也有不同面向，為了自己的復仇即使波及他人也不會自我質疑…

自己還能犧牲幾多，又得到了幾多?

恩仇未泯，命運會作出選擇。
