It's a beautiful night with the moon and stars in the sky. Gordan, who looks to be in his thirties, is running on footpath and hurriedly enters a spacious, dimly-lit restaurant. He stops in the dining hall and searches the many candle-lit tables. He finds his wife, Jessica with whom he separated two years ago sitting alone at a corner table. The remains of her half-eaten dinner lay on the table. A small piece of cake with a candle in it sits untouched. Jessica stirs sugar in her coffee as Gordan sits in the seat across from her. She gently stops stirring, but doesn't look up.759Please respect copyright.PENANAUUXOZgNEsX

Gordan continues, "Well, everyone hates me at work. No one talks to me. I have to do all the work myself. They didn't provide me with a desk. I have to work alone in a small store room where no one comes all day."759Please respect copyright.PENANAlw1pzkTDHh
Jessica turns back. She glances across the table, then looks down.759Please respect copyright.PENANAb0J0Pe66p3
Gordan continues, "Nowadays office jobs are so difficult to do. There is so much ego and grudges hidden inside every person in the office. It breaks my heart. I am not this kind of person. I care about them all but they think that I am selfish and do all this just for my own benefit. I try talking to them and making our office relations good again but nobody listens to me, not even the boss. When I speak, they ignore me as if I am not there."759Please respect copyright.PENANAYoaHldsLgQ
Gordan loses himself in his thoughts. The waiter drops off the cheque on the table. Jessica grabs it before Gordan and quickly signs it.759Please respect copyright.PENANAGcXHweauQE
Gordan says, "I know you're mad. It's just that office work is getting more day by day. I know that I came from another state after two years and we haven't talked since we separated but now I am here. We have a lot of time for talking. See, you didn't even tell me that we will be meeting here. I went home and saw it was locked so I guessed that you must be in the restaurant on the eve of our anniversary. Please say something to me.” 759Please respect copyright.PENANAAjgrtTRH5S

Jessica becomes silent and falls into deep sleep. Her arm slides down and something falls on the ground. Gordan gazes curiously at a wedding photo of him and Jessica. He comes near Jessica and picks up the photo and smiles. Then only his eyes glance over an old newspaper cutting lying on the side table which shows a headline, “A Bus Accident Kills 10 Passengers”. Beneath the headlines is the list of names of dead passengers. Confusion washes over Gordon’s face as he sees his name in the list. Gordon is completely lost. He takes a couple steps back and looks around in confusion. His eyes come to rest on a table. He looks in disbelief at the flower bouquets and “Rest In Peace” cards lying on a table in front of his photo. Gordon doesn't know what the hell's going on. His eyes are drawn to the wedding album. Gordon watches pictures of him and Jessica in the album. He looks at Jessica's face and becomes very still. 759Please respect copyright.PENANAVMFMwnsQIQ
