I walked in the rain,

in the night I lost you.

I plucked the flowers,

that I didn't offer you.

I broke the mirror,

that saw me cry.

I unmade the bed,

that reminded me of you.

I searched in the closet,

looking for your scent.

I drowned my tears,

under the pillow.

I turned on the lights,

waiting for you to see me.

I chased away my delirium,

waiting for you to come back.

I struggled in the shower,

washing my pain.

I stifled my pride,

and I begged for your love.

I realised so late,

that it was too late…

I had already lost you,

and what was left for me,

it's this wounded heart.

I tried to recompose my being,

broken by agony…

In moments of madness,

I can hear your voice.

I see you with the eyes of my soul,

but I can't touch you.

You are just an image,

that was kept inside me.

I walked in the rain...

I plucked the flowers...

I messed up the bed...

I searched the closet,

something that reminded me of you

that it had your scent,

but I found nothing…

That's why I despaired,

when I realised,

that you're gone with the wind…
