原文：

子曰：「吾與回言終日，不違如愚。退而省其私，亦足以發，回也不愚。」

詮釋：

孔子說：「我曾經和顏回聊了一整天，得出的結果是，不違抗我的都是笨蛋。不過不用難過，退一步，看看你自己，也就夠了，顏回也不承認自己是笨蛋。」
