Memories Dreamnt - Episode #1 -- Brothers In arms.

2 years later.

"How'd it happen?" a gentle boyish voice speaks quietly.. "Where'd you go..? I can't seem to remember."

A black hole spirals into dim colored outlines of blurry figurines. Heavy breathing being the only thing you can hear, as you watch behind a veil of haze. Looking through the colorful wavering of flames-- before someone let's go of your hand. You get tossed overboard a ship, slowly sinking into black waters; watching the light fade further and further away. As the gentle boyish voice speaks again...

"I'm screaming... So why can't anyone hear me? How-- how come I keep coming back here..? I hate this place."

You reach your hand out moving the waters, looking towards a glowing woman's figurine. She grabs your hand-- pulling you close, whispering words, until you drown, losing consciousness... before you wake up gasping for air.

A boy with chopped up platinum blonde hair, and a single long strand hanging down the side of his neck over his shoulder; messy bangs, caressing his pale milky complexion. Along with long eyelashes the same color as his hair, that flutter over his black eyes.

His pale lips lay open as he breathes heavily. Eventually shaking his head, the boy calms down-- standing up from his bottom bunk of the bed, looking around confused. Someone nudges his shoulder-- and the boy looks up to see his tall roommate, holding a jar of pills for him; using his other hand he dries his shoulder length chocolate brown hair. And in a mellow tone, the boy's roommate says-- " 'Morningg Charleyy~" he gives Charley his pills.

Charley nods slightly without expression, taking the pills-- "Mm... thank you Dominic."

The tall boy with chocolate hair, and chocolate eyes, to complement his chocolate skin, retracts his hand as Charley goes to grab them.71Please respect copyright.ＰＥＮＡＮＡ8BmEbfXYMF
He says with a smile a father would have when correcting their child, waving his finger along with it-- "Ayy eyyy, where's your manners Charleyy? Did I not teach you anything?"

"It's 7am, I don't really care about manners right now, especially with you." Charley looks up at Dominic, lowering his head down slightly making his eyes roll up-- as he holds his hand out waiting for Dominic to hand them to him.

Dominc ends up shrugging, handing over the pills, "I don't know whether to feel flattered, or hurt." he says.

"Pff... why would you feel flattered?" Charley scoffs as he walks over to a small wooden desk by a large antique window, grabbing a glass of water from the desk.

Dominic walks over to the closet putting his shirt on, "Because it means you're comfortable enough with me, to not care." "Or just rude." Charley responds. "Nah, I know when you're being rude. This isn't it."

Swallowing his pills, Charley starts to choke. Dominic glances over and is taken aback, before he rushes towards Charley, slapping his back insanely hard-- making the pill shoot out of Charley's mouth. "Whoa mate! Slow down. If it's too early for manners, it's too early to die too! Dang... those pills are horse-sized ain't they?"

Charley shakes his head many times, trying to swallow the pills again, "Gah.. I hate it." "Heh don't we all..." Dominic laughs slightly at Charley's disgusted face, then walks over to the bottom bunk of their bunkbed; sitting down.

"So... you had that dream again huh? Cause when you woke up, you were all like--ah--!" He starts acting dramatic, pretending to die.

"Dont make yourself look more dumb than you already do." "Pffffttttt..." Dominc rolls his eyes. As Charley opens the drawer to the desk, grabbing his notebook starting to swish through the pages; "Mm.. but yeah, I did."

Dominic--"Did you hear what they said this time? And you left your shirt in the bathroom."

Charley--"Mm..? No, I didn't. Aah-- thanks." He rushes into the bathroom to then come back putting his shirt on. While Dominic lays down on the bed reaching for the glasses on the bedside desk, putting them on-- "You know, you could just ask me where your things are. Instead of scrambling through your notes."

Charley--"Yeah I know, I just don't want to be dependent on you." He goes to put a satchel over himself, placing his notebook inside along with a pencil.

Dominic--"Isn't it the same thing though? That book or me, will both remind you when you can't remem--" A bell rings throughout the large wooden house, cutting off Dominics words. Charley chooses to ignore Dominic, using the bell as an excuse as he heads towards the door hastily, "C'mon my stomach is eating itself."

Dominic sighs--" Charleyy..! You're avoiding againn."

Charley shakes his head--"Whatevverr."

Running up to him laughing slightly, he ruffles Charley's crazy hair making it even more wild looking, while hugging him from the behind.

Charley flinches--"Enough already!"

Dominic mimics his little friend--"Whatevverr~"

The two now sitting in the breakfast hall, big enough for 100 kids. Place their plates of food down on the unique from every other table, as all the tables in the room vary in size and style; along with chairs. Ceiling to floor windows let in the light of the yellow sun that shines through rounded small stained glass windows painted between each french door. All opening to the large outside patio. While enjoying their meal, a pair of boys pass by Charley and Dominics table; mocking them.

Boy#1--"Pft... Look he remembered to use a fork this time"

Boy#2--"Nah, that gangster probably had to remind him again."

Dominic rolls his eyes looking at the boys with a disgusted expression-- "Why don't you guys use your mouths for something useful and shove it."

The two boys halt at Dominics remark, looking back, crooking their necks, glaring at Dominic.

Boy#1--"Tsk.. what?"

Suddenly a large sigh is heard throughout the room, as everyone mumbles to themselves... "..not again.." Dominic looks at the boys with an innocent face pointing his finger at himself, "Hmm? Did I say something? Did I Charley?" Charley stares blankly at Dominic, not saying a word. As the boy slams his hand on the table-- "Yeah, that's what I thought." He says in the most obnoxious way humanly possible.

Dominic--"Tsk tsk tsk. Bad move lil'pig." He gets up quickly slamming his hand on top of the boys, making the boy shriek in pain; "gAHH! What the heck!? Let me go, you maniac!" The boy tries to wiggle out of Dominic's strong grip, as he smiles menacingly-- "Apologize first, then leave."

Boy#1 looks over to his friend--"Man what're you doing help me!"

Boy#2--"Heh... you really grew up in the alleys didn't you?" A cocky grin begins to display itself on his face as he continues-- "At least I'm an orphan because my parents died... But now I get why you were left behin--" Suddenly the boy's head flies backwards, as an apple smacks him in the face. He shouts seeing Charley standing-- "Finally manning up a little huh!?" He starts marching over to Charley with a clenched fist; Dominic with widened eyes, let's go of the boy's hand and quickly stands between the clenched fisted boy and Charley. "I hope you're not planning to be an idiot this early in the morning."

Boy#1 shakes his hand--"Shi-- that hurts... Man let's just go! I'm too hungry for this."

Dominic--"They say lil'pigs are smart, I guess it's true. You might wanna listen to him." Everyone remains silent as they stare at the fight, wondering what will happen next; the boy cowards out.

Boy#2--'Whatever... you're only here for one more year right? I'm sure all your lovers--"

Charley--"Just shut up and leave already."

Boy#2--"I wouldn't push it Charley! You only have one more year to hide behind your wall."

The bully boys leave the breakfast hall without finishing their food. Charley then sighs, looking up at Dominic, seeing him clenching his jaw together. Charley pokes him, saying in his gentle voice, "You... you okay?"

Dominic--"I... uh y-yeah. Heh.." he laughs awkwardly looking at Charley with a misplaced smile, "You really surprised me! You threw that apple at his face so hard, he'll for sure wake up with a black eye tomorrow."

Charley--"Mmm... well I won't say that I went overboard."

Dominic--"Yeah, I wouldn't say so either..." He says while walking away towards the kitchen. Charley follows him with his eyes, "Where you headed? We didn't finish eating."

Dominic--"I just need some water, that's all~ I'll bring you back some tea."

Charley nods while mumbling to himself--"Mm.. now you're the one avoiding."

Dominic starts brewing tea in a pot of water, he sets it down as it begins to slowly simmer; waiting for it to finish as he stares through one of the kitchen windows, looking out at the forest. He replays the boy's words in his head, making him mumble out loud-- "Left behin-- n-no!" He shakes his head excessively, running out of the kitchen down into a hallway.

Breathing heavily he frantically searches for somewhere to hide, finding a closet door, he locks it; slowly sliding down the wall onto the floor. "No... stop!"71Please respect copyright.ＰＥＮＡＮＡBj1BrCS65x
Memories replay in his mind as voices of a man taint his thoughts--"What a nice boy--" He bangs his head back against the wall, closing his eyes tightly. "Shut up... Get away from me... please-- Dominic stop thinking!"

Gripping onto his heart he curls into a ball, laying his head on his knees, whispering to himself..."Calm down... shhhh." Moments pass by slowly, as his breath increasingly becomes less rapid. Wiping away the tears that shed down his cheeks, he finally opens his eyes once again; standing up. "O-okay... mm.. how long have I been he-- no that doesn't matter let's just... go make Charley's tea yeah."

Twisting the knob, he leaves the hallway closet, getting startled as he sees Charley leaning against the wall staring at him. "No! Ah... C-Charley, it's you. I told you to w-wait at the table and I'd bring you some tea."71Please respect copyright.ＰＥＮＡＮＡXLgxRFHLgX
Charley walks in front of Dominic, opening the closet to look inside--"Did you make it?"

Dominic sighs, swishing his hair back laughing slightly--" Lets go make tea, c'mon." Beginning to walk away, Charley stops him as he tugs on his arm; "Wait, get down to my level."

Dominic--"Your level..?" He smiles confused, before Charley pulls him down making Dominic's height the same as his. Charley then raises his hand, patting Dominic's head.

Dominic laughs--"What're you doing Charley?"

Charley just stares with a blank expression--"You always pat my head whenever I feel something I don't want to feel, so I'm doing the same for you."

Dominic--"Because my head pat's always make you feel so much better?"

Charley stops, shrugging subtly--"No. But I thought it might make you feel better." Beginning to cry with teary dog eyes, Dominic hugs Charley, squeezing him. "My Lil'bro is so sweet to me!" Becoming uncomfortable, Charley tries to unhinge himself from Dominic's strong grip, "Let go of me! I'm never patting your head again if you do this."

Dominic--"Only if you remember~!"

Charley--"Mmm... I'll write it down in my notebook."

Dominic gasps, letting go of Charley--"How could you!" Charley shows a slight smirk as he crosses his arms proudly. A whistling noise echoes suddenly, as a yell comes from the kitchen, "Who's burning tea!?" The two boy's look at each other,

Dominic--"Oh yeah.. the tea."

Charley--"First you strangle me-- then you burn my tea..." Running quickly down the hallway that's ornately decorated with unique rugs, Dominic yells--"It's fine, It's fine. We're fine! It's fiine!"

An hour passes, as the two boys now walk down the hallway towards their room with pouty faces, as they have been scolded. Charley slowly sipping his burnt tea, as a man with a mustache, and fancy suit approaches them, "Charley! Could you come with me to my office, it's important."

Charley--"Ah yes Mr.Robin."

Dominic--"Y-you dont want me too?"

Mr.Robin slowly shifts his gaze at Dominic--"Now why would I want you too? Did I miss something while I was away?"

Dominic--"Of course not Mr.Robin! Nevermind this Angel." he says while smiling innocently and bowing slightly.

Mr.Robin rubs his eyebrows sighing--"Goodness... what could have happened in an hour.."

Charley--"Nothing happened Mr.Robin. We just burned some tea."

Mr.Robin--"Ah sure, okay yes... I'll let myself be relieved from that stress for now. To my office Charley, come along." He begins to walk away, Charley following him as he looks back at Dominic nodding, while Dominic gives him a thumbs up.

They arrive at Mr.Robin's office, a small office it is, however containing a vast amount of unique clocks; ground clocks, wall clocks, merry-go-round clocks, even a clock with a living fish inside.71Please respect copyright.ＰＥＮＡＮＡVcUiIyAkpD
Along with stained glass windows covering wherever a clock isn't placed. Gentle sun rays shine through one of them, falling onto the silhouette of a tall, lean man; who stands next to the window, looking over at Charley, who stands waiting at the door.71Please respect copyright.ＰＥＮＡＮＡ2pIMcUH3WQ
And breaking the silence in a gentle, manly voice, "Hello Charley, It's been quite sometime." The man says while smiling sweetly, like a father.
