　　從小對瓦斯點燃火的那一瞬間感到莫名害怕，所以我的工作通常都是別人點好火，叫我幫忙顧一下時間然後關掉火。

　　有一次，偷懶跑去看電視，看得入迷忘了時間，再回到廚房時，火已被溢出的水澆熄，鍋底燒破一個大洞，鍋內只剩黑漆漆的不明物體。

　　趕緊關掉瓦斯，然後跑到門口，心裡只想著：「慘了慘了……」，待了大概二十多分鐘後，瓦斯外洩的部份應該消散地差不多了，才回到廚房面對這慘不忍睹的鍋子，怕被家人罵，異想天開地塞到棉被下面藏起來。

　　後續就笨拙地說鍋子燒壞了，丟掉了，也許家人心裡知曉但也沒有太多責罵，幸好沒有釀成大禍，從此之後，在家，廚房就是我的禁區，連顧火這種差事都不讓我做了。
