The Wings Of Longing - Twilight Without You

Millions of seconds you've been with me

Makes me stronger to face this life

Tracing the steep abyss of life

Treading the mortal world with a smile

Mother....

You are the source of my motivation when I fall

Wakes me up while others laugh with joy

Guide me slowly but surely

It's as if you're telling me that life needs a struggle

Mother...

Behind your cheerfulness you often hide the pain

The pain that made you happy when I grew up

The bitterness of life for you is honey that flows like a river

Your hunger and thirst is your happiness

When you see us fast asleep without hunger and thirst

Mother ....

Twilight without you is so lonely, lonely, and gloomy

Only millions of memories you taught us

That twilight is the time to know Allah

Recite His words letter by letter

Contemplating verse by verse from short to long surah

Mother ....

Sunset without you will not be forgotten

When you talk about the prophets and messengers of Allah

Their struggle and suffering

For the sake of upholding the sentence of monotheism on this earth

Mother...

Only my prayers that I can recite

For your happiness in nature

May paradise be your best place
