I wasn't expecting a spider to show up out of nowhere. Nor was I expecting him to actually pay me rent money. But he seemed a harmless enough creature, so I let him stay and do his own thing. He kept the creepy crawlies at bay, and I got rent money out of it. So I wasn't on that bad a wicket. He didn't have much to say for himself, but I didn't mind.
