stop scurrying and spinning on the planes of my brain

keep my head out of my oven

scissors snip my grandmother’s quilt

sewing back together transmitting heaven

Get out of my memories cicada

defacing property that isn’t yours

your sly sirens sing sweet songs through seashells I’ve collected

ants make their home in the streams of my blood

spiders knitting webs in my lungs

stitching wings of flies

A kaleidoscope for my eyes
