I was turning the sword in my hands it probably wasn’t the safest idea but it was all I had. My legs had become numb from sitting on the boxes for so long. Thinking positively was slowly becoming harder as I waited. Small dark doubts and thoughts were creeping in ruining my efforts at looking at the bright side. I wished something would happen. Preferably good but I would do anything to stop thinking at this point.

I instantly felt the floor drop. What…was happening? I didn’t like this. It was like the many nightmares I had. I was floating in a dark space I couldn’t see the end or ground. There’s nothing around for me to hold on to. Was I going to fall? Just like the dreams. I would end up falling forever in a space like this. No, that wouldn't happen. I soon calmed down and then noticed three was a light source. Some of it was showing what I assumed was the outside of the rooms. But there was a massive light source, in massive white letters. I read the words.

It looked like it was typed in Comic Sans MS I loved using that font for all my assignments. I think it made my essays look neater. Apparently, everyone else hates the font. I don’t get why though.

I paid proper attention to the area I could see in front of me. It looked like those mansions I had to go see for history. Red walls with those fancy black indents. There were paintings on some of the walls, some of those men on horses others of flowers and landscapes. These people had variety.

I didn’t know how I was meant to choose where I wanted to go. But moving towards there seemed easiest. Why weren’t there instructions for that? Or at least they could have been more clear. Not everyone gets A+’s.

I also saw my shoes. They weren’t what I was wearing before. I couldn’t believe that I hadn’t noticed that I wasn’t wearing anything of mine. Instead, I wore a simple black and white tuxedo. I still felt so fancy. I touched my hair. There was gel in it, I never did that. My hair was slicked back from what I felt. I hoped there would be a mirror the next time I went into a room. I wanted to see what I properly looked like.

After releasing what I looked like I started stepping on the stones into what looked like a room. I went in a zig-zag pattern hopping from tile to tile. I had learnt earlier that I couldn’t step in something more than once.
