We all know the feeling when we have had a super long day and are too tired to spend an hour in the kitchen to cook up something delicious. In these instances, it is easier to just chuck something in the microwave. It does not make you less magickal by using a microwave and a premade meal! The microwave itself is pretty magickal when you think about it.
Even if you want to cook something but don’t want to create a whole ritual around making cheese on toast, you can easily create an all-purpose chant to say as you are preparing whatever quick food you are going to eat. Having an all-purpose chant is a fun way to keep your day magickal, no matter what is going on, and you can even change the odd word here and there to match whatever you are making if you like.
Here is my go-to “I’m too tired to cook anything” chant as an example:
Magickal Meal, in a mundane bowl
Nourish my body and nourish my soul
Sometimes I will add something that relates to what I am making but most of the time I will just say this as a quick fix when I am too tired and grumpy to create something elaborate.
