Nimps were not immortal and vanished after a number of years had passed. When these Nimps vanished, light particles also vanished, as these particles were left without a Light Source to keep them alive. However, once a Nimp was gone, a new Nimp took it's place. Once a large number of new Nimps arrived, a new generation of Nimps began.
When the new generation of Nimps begun, new Light Sources were formed and new light particles were created. Energy particles continued to be collected and used as energy for the light.
Sure enough, this generation of Nimps would also eventually end. Another generation would began afterwards. After that generation ended, another one begun. No matter how much time passed, there would always be Nimps on the planet working to keep the planet alight. There would always be Light Sources observing their light particles and being proud of what they had done for the planet.
However, the advice that The Creator had given was almost completely forgotten by the Nimps once the second generation had begun. By the time the third generation began, it seemed the advice had never been given at all.
With their new personalities, the Nimps had begun to feel emotions that were much different than feeling proud of their light particles. Many of the Nimps didn't feel that they had any reason to listen to The Creator's advice. He had said he never intended to return, so how could he ever find out that they had decided not to listen to his words? After all, they were now in charge of the planet. What reason did they have to obey anybody else's orders?
As the generations passed, fewer and fewer numbers of Nimps could even remember what The Creator had told them. As the generations passed, the Nimps had begun traditions that The Creator had hoped to prevent.
Although both Black Nimps and White Nimps were capable of generating energy, the Nimps felt it was much more convenient to let the Black Nimps handle the job on their own. Because the Black Nimps did a wonderful job of generating light, they believed they could also do a wonderful job at generating energy. As time went on, the Black Nimps were believed to be much more capable of collecting and generating energy than the White Nimps.
As the Black Nimps collected energy, the White Nimps remained with the light particles. The White Nimps had the responsibility of always watching the particles and alerting the Black Nimps whenever energy was needed. As time went on, the White Nimps were believed to be much more capable of knowing how much energy a light particle had than the Black Nimps.
Even with the new traditions, the planet always remained alight. The Nimps believed that as long as there was light on the planet, there was never anything to worry about. Light Sources continued to appreciate their light particles and be happy that they were doing a wonderful job of keeping the planet lit up.
However, as generations continued to move forward, the Nimps began to develop even more different types of emotions. Many Nimps soon forgot how proud they had been of creating the light particles and began to feel even more pride for how well they performed at their traditions. These feelings of pride soon changed into feelings of smugness.
The feeling of smugness was only the beginning of the conflict that had now begun.
