"My name is Mirage the Manipulator of Mirage. The world shall be engulfed with Mirage and Illusion!" Mirage roared. "Is he the one commanding the wolves?" Alice wondered. "We can't face it alone. We need these villagers' help," Vine said. "I will finish these wolves with my lightning magic," Martha charged storm magic. "Are you sure about this? If we want to get rid of these wolves, we need to spray some water on them first," Alice suggested. As soon as Alice said that, rain falls down from the sky. "Now!" Alice shouted. "Thunder Storm! Kazam!" Marta imitated the sound of thunderstruck. Lightning strikes the wolves from the cloud. Mirage dodges the lightning with a warp movement. "Holy, I can almost see the blinding light behind my hands covering my eyes," Alice was amazed. When Alice opens her eyes, she gasps in disbelief noticing Mirage wasn't affected by the lightning. "How did---?" Alice gaped. A familiar finned figure jumps to their side. "That shape...(Gasp) Don't tell me...!" Vine gasped. "Need help?" the figure asked. "June! I thought that you stayed in the 19th century. How?" Alice wondered. "I will explain everything later. I knew that something must have happened here. I can tell from the wolves howling sounds. How annoying," June said. "Mirage!" Alice called. Mirage looks at Alice and had an intuition upon observing her figure. "Hmrm...You are no ordinary magician despite your small stature. Hmrph! My minions told me that a Human apprentice beat them with a companion. It's you!!" Mirage yelled at Alice. "Oh no...He knew that we beat all of his minions, get ready for battle!" Alice shouted. "Ready for battle, everyone!!" Poema shouted. Mirage looks at them with confidence. "Humans can never defeat me," Mirage growled. "We will see about that," Alice said. "Chimera...War Cry...," Grandma Tata said raspingly. Chimera generates a loud cry that rose everyone's fighting spirit. "Yeah! Let's go! Puma Slash!" Poema slashed Mirage with his claw. "I'm next! Freezing Blast!" Martha shot a crystallized ball from her punch on Mirage. "Torrent Jab!" June blasted a water torrent from her sword on Mirage. Both Martha and June's elemental attack freezes Mirage in solid ice. Mirage easily breaks free from the ice. "Hraah! What a weak ice!" Mirage roared. Mirage raises his big dual axes and swings it on the ground. "Shattering Ground!" Mirage split the ground below them in a straight line. "Oh no! Time Freeze!" Alice froze time temporarily. Alice moves everyone away from the ground's gaps and time returns to normal with everyone out of the attack's range. "How did---? My attack should have sent you humans to the abyss!" Mirage shouted with a confused look on his face. Mirage suspected that it was Alice's doing and snarl at her. "Fine then. Show me your power, little human!" Mirage said to Alice. Alice steps forward and a reddish-orange aura flow from below. "I can't believe I have to do this. Soul of Vathek! Teacher, Aura Blessing!" Alice called forth Vathek's spirit that she took back from the Devil in her last journey to save Vathek. Vathek's spirit appears behind her and covers Alice in a fierce aura. "So this is---," Mirage's amazement was cut off by Alice's shouting voice. "Leonic Force Punch!!" Alice sent a fierce force in the shape of a lion's roar from her punch toward Mirage. Mirage flinches upon seeing it and defends with his axes in reflex. "Urgagh!!!" Mirage shouted when the force of her punch landed on him. Her force punch knocks Mirage back several meters away from her despite his defensive stance. Alice falls on her knee for using Vathek's spirit that she kept with her for the first time, the aura has gone after she used it. "That took a lot of power," Alice said with a tired face. She stands up again after she knelt on the ground. Mirage looks at her, fear begins to fill him from the inside. "How powerful. Despite being unable to use that hidden power more than she can handle, she stood up again despite her condition after using that hidden power. What an amazing recovery ability for a human despite her small stature," Mirage thought. Mirage floats upward and throws his axes in a boomerang pattern. "Look out! Two ax boomerangs!" Vine warned. "Time Lock!" Alice directly froze Mirage in time. "Mother!" Poema took Grandma Tata out of the attack pattern. "So this is Alice's new magic, Time Lock. How did you do that, Alice?" a young woman asked. "It's basically Time Freeze magic but you point that magic directly to an object both living or non-living. I learn this magic to save Vathek from his doomed path but I couldn't save him cause he wouldn't listen to me. Now I can only take back Vathek's soul from the Devil and keep it within me," Alice explained. As soon as time returns to normal, the axes return to Mirage and he caught them with an angry look on his face. "Grrr!!! Missed by magic again!!" Mirage angered. Poema casts a binding vine on Mirage while he is distracted. "Hrmm...Clever act," Mirage said. He tries to free himself from the vine but it binds him harder instead. "The more you move, the harder the bind. This binding magic is no ordinary magic, the vines cannot be broken by raw brute force like that," Poema said. "Now is our chance!" Marta said. Alice calls upon Vathek with heavy panting. "I'm going to use my last strength to empower both of you. Use it to finish Mirage. Soul of Vathek...," Alice called. A reddish-orange orb appears and forms into Vathek. "Bless these two with your power. Power Focus!!" Alice commanded. Vathek extends both hands upon Martha and Vine. Martha focuses Vathek's blessing on her fist while Vine focuses Vathek's blessing on his right foot. Vathek vanishes after blessing them and Alice falls unconscious to the ground from exhaustion. "Begone from our world, Mirage! Team Attack!" Marta and Vine said. Marta and Vine's attack breaks the chain on Mirage and knocks him far away much to his fear. "Urgh!!! What terrifying potential! Me will not let me self die here. Me shall return!! Mark my words, humans, and Valkyrie!!!" Mirage roared. He disappears into another realm. "He vanished...," Vine said. "This is not over yet," Martha said with her hand crossed. "He will be back soon...," Grandma Tata whispered. "Do not worry. We can stop him. We are the Guardians after all....," Poema said. Everyone approaches Alice fallen on the ground. "Poor little Alice...she pushed herself too far," Marta's mother said. "She used everything she had to stop Mirage," Grandma Tata said. "She needs a rest. Both of you, take her to her tent," Poema said. "Yes, brother," Vine said. Marta and Vine brought Alice back to the tent. "Dear....for a small child, she has great ethic code and morality," Grandma Tata complimented. "We found her as an infant without parents yet she never stops amazed me...," Marta's mother said.231Please respect copyright.PENANAkOF3bYjKSk
