Though the locals get to learn some new things

As they were enlightened and helped stop some ignorant deeds.

The people choose to show act of bravery,

Through the help of some educated elites

For their independence they choose to fight .

Although the foreigners exploited and harsh treated us

Disregarding our thoughts using indirect force,

But they left leaving us with what they have taught

That if we imply, in the web of oppressors we won't be caught.

But ever since we gained the rule

It seemed like nothing had changed

For it started with the millitary's dictatorship

To it coerce and wrongs the people got ranged.

How much they wish for better times

Not the hurts and wrongs they felt all this while

And days when they won't grieve but smile.

The reign of military ended

No more to force but only by election

And the chosen one follow strictly a constitution.

These was what the foreigners had taught

But they got deluded by power and forgot.

So the lost system was brought back again

Then everyone was hopeful, for the laws were good and sane.
