今時今日，動漫漸漸變得非常普及，遍佈全球，無人不曉。在動漫起源的日本，一年最少多達四十部動漫新作或第二季播映，不包括成人和子供番。但我們有沒有想過，過氣的動漫人物如何繼續在「人物過剩」的世界生存呢？

紅蓮：過氣男角色，2004年曾獲最受歡迎動漫排行榜第一名，之後沒有機會上鏡，現在是某動漫公司的路人角色

雪芹：上年度被譽為「最想結婚的動漫女角色」，之後出現不少同人作並瘋傳，當中成人作最多，最後被人標籤為「公廁」。

這是關於兩個過氣角色之間的愛情故事，也是他們的奮鬥史。
