I hand Lovage an old shirt, and a pair of pants, and leave the cave, allowing her to change privately. Moments later, she pokes her head out of the cave.
"You can come back inside," Lovage gestures to the pants, which sit on the floor. "The pants were too long, so I'm not wearing them." She continues, slipping into the pair of boots she had worn earlier. "Besides, the shirt's long enough to be a dress anyway!" I chuckle, handing her one of my cloaks.
"If you're dressed up, let's go." I leave the cave, and Lovage follows, walking beside me.
"Where are we going?" She asks, and I take her hand in mine.
"We're going to visit an old friend of mine," I explain, smiling at the faint blush on Lovage's face. "She knows the former council members. I have a feeling that His Majesty plans to kill them." I explain. "Nightcap will warn the former council, and hopefully they will flee before the king finds them."
