Allie fluttered down the street of the village, her body casting an iridescent blue glow. she dragged a cookie along with her, flying gracefully towards the large mansion in the distance. Voran was always a very grumpy and stubborn creature. he was a vex, and as all vexes, he was a slave to the magic of an evoker. but that didn't have anything to do with his attitude. most of the vexes were the mischievous and chaotic happy type, like Harley Quinn, but she tried to make friends with him anyway. She fluttered up and glided through the open window of the mansion. She carried the cookie easily. she fluttered her way to the attic where Voran was. She pushed the attic door open with a struggle then flew over to where Voran was, sulking in the corner. "Hey! Voran, I brought something to cheer you up!" He turned and looked at her with a sour expression, "It's a cookie!" she said grinning. his face softened into a thankful smile. "thanks Allie." he said shyly and took the cookie. it was an easy extra third taller than he was. "Why are you always so sour Voran?" Allie asked, she sounded like a small girl, with a comically small voice. "I'm a vex, no one likes me, not even you, you just bring me stuff like this because it's what allays naturally do."
"It is not! I want to be your friend! And I will be your friend, one way or another!"
"Really?" he sounded shocked, but pleasantly so.
"Yes! and if you don't like it, so be it, I'm still going to care for you!"
