時值19世紀末，在工業革命的混亂與發展之中，大英帝國擴張殖民地、佔領了世界¼的領土，成為繼羅馬帝國以來最大的霸權國家，卻被人口不足3％的特權階級統治着。

在這國家中，階級是區別人與人之間、堅不可破的界線，人們所出生的階層和血統決定了其一生的身份。

然後，不滿的人們發動了革命……

這是，王位繼承權第4位卻想成為女王的公主，以及擁有相同理念而助她上位的天才之間，目的一致但手段相異、兩人之間火花四濺的羅曼史故事。

更是兩名十多年前經歷分離的少年少女，重逢並決定一起活下去的故事。



改編自《憂國的莫里亞蒂》和《Princess Principal》，沒有看過原作也不影響閱讀，與原作劇情有所出入。

 以英國為背景融合了真實和架空歷史。

本故事純屬虛構，與任何真實人物、事件及地點沒有任何關係，亦沒有支持任何特定的思想主義。
