‘y/n! come on! We have only 5 minutes left! You do know we have a 2-hour drive to London!’ My little brother Calvin yelled up the wooden stairs that ricocheted from wall to wall and into my room. I place the last robe into my luggage and run downstairs, everything in my hands. I grab a cold pancake off the stove and run outside and into the car. This is our magical car, we got it from the ministry of magic when we needed a ride to the Hogwarts express last year when our car broke down and broke. My dad, Alvin Dalory, works for the ministry, He’s a hit wizard. This is going to be a long explanation but, here, Hit wizards or hit are a member of the magical law enforcement squad that are trained to deal with highly dangerous combat situations, such as high-risk arrests, riot control and presumably hostage situations, so yeah, that’s what my dad does.
‘y/n,’ my mother's gentle voice speaks ‘dear, are you ready?’ she asks. I nod as my dad takes his wand, points it to the abis in front of the car and said ‘unsupported flight!’
The car took off.

The moment we arrived at platform 9 ¾ we were met with the smell of maple and Bertie Bott's Every Flavour Beans filled the air. The switch from cold air to warm fire-like air was odd but neat. My dad and mom lead me and my brother to the train, waved goodbye, and left. But before I walked onto the train my mother grabbed ahold of my arm and turned me around with a slight ‘y/n.’ she looked at me with loving eyes. ‘y/n, please take care of yourself and Calvin. The last thing I want is to get a call from Albus just to tell me you two have passed…I love you dearly y/n. stay safe and have fun.’ My mother's earthy voice flows through the air like hibiscus breezes. Her long light brown hair cascaded down her floral summer dress. I tell her I love her too and hop on the train. As I walk down the aisles of the compartments that are holding tens of happy children, I look for my brother and see he’s already made friends with other males 2nd years.
I decided I was going to sit somewhere else and let him and his friends have fun without a 6th year ruining their fun. I see an empty cart that wasn’t occupied with only air itself. I place my hand on the wooden handle and slide it open. The carts smelt different than the train itself did, the train smelt like clean rust and rosemary, while the carts smelt like lavender and honey. I walk into the cart and close the door behind me, placing my luggage on the seat next to me and moving close to the window to keep the cold close. Right before the train whistle blew a group of three 6ths years rush into my compartment arguing about something called a dementor and something serious? They don’t notice me beside all my luggage so I decide to shuffle a little to divert their attention from the argument to the fact there's someone else in their cart. They look away from each other and over to me. There was one boy with red hair, like my father's, he had many freckles and was holding a rat. A rat that was quite large at that matter. His hair was also messy and he wore loose robes that looked much too big. Then, there was a girl. Who had a weird sort of hair, it was an orange-brown mix of colours and was a frizzy curly mix of texture. She had freckles. They both seemed like siblings but I decided not to bring it up. Then my eyes moved to the boy with a scar on his forehead. I realised it was Harry Potter, the boy everyone talks about. I didn’t stare since that’s rude n all.
‘oh! Where so sorry!’ the freckled girl states. ‘We didn’t notice anyone was in her-‘ before she couldn’t finish her sentence the cart door opened again and a pale boy with bleach blond hair is standing there in the doorway.
‘don’t bother mud blood,’ the pale boy spat out to the girl. ‘here dear, come with me..’ The boy says holding out a hand. I look around at the others who were doing the same. I don’t want to leave them behind as they seem very nice but.. I’ve had a crush on Draco ever since I came to Hogwarts. He's not the nicest person you’ll ever meet but I know he has a soft side somewhere and I want to find it. I hold out my hand and grab his. I place my feet down and step over the girl with brown-ish red-ish hair and step towards Draco. He smirks at me before closing the compartment door and walking me up the isles towards a different one, where the Slytherins ride.
‘sorry I Had to take you away from you Gryffindor friends dear, you don’t need them.’ His sly voice says. Regardless of me being a Slytherin, I never normally sit with them bc of how loud they are.
He opens the door for me once we reach the cart, and the smell of green apples and mint fills my nose. I notice how much bigger the Slytherin cart is than the others. It could fit the whole 6th-year Slytherins in here! ‘I use to hear a simple song~’ I hear someone to my right sing. It was baize tabin. He's always singing something. To my left, I hear someone say ‘y/n! play spin the bottle with us!’ it was Pansy. ‘uh- sure? Why not’ I say back, I was feeling less shy at that point.
*time skip*
We all are sitting in a circle with a bottle in the middle of us. Draco sitting directly across from me. And pansy to my left. And baize to the right of Draco. The rest of the 6th-year Slytherins were around the circle. ‘Aydan spin first..’ pansy says. Everyone is either on their phone or fidgeting with something. Aidan sits up on his knees and reaches up and over to spin the bottle. (A/N: it's gonna get detailed around now bc I'm outta school and I have time to think abt what I'm finna write and stuff.)
The bottle turns round and round, everyone staring at the bottle either hoping it doesn’t land on you or hoping it does land on you. It feels like it's been spinning for an hour until it finally stops, thankfully it didn’t land on me, it was a new 6th year. A new 6th year doesn’t mean they just showed up and became a 6th year, it means that this is the only experience they’ve had with another 6th year Slytherins. Sorry if that didn’t make any sense but, anyways. But the thing is…it was a guy. Aydan was gay and everyone knew that but has never actually been with a guy before. Not that I know of at least. Brook Sabian was the guy it landed on. I'm not sure of Brooks's sexuality but I'm kinda sure he likes guys? I don’t know. Besides the point, brooks face goes a deep red, everyone laughed but me. I had my face stuffed into my phone texting the boy in front of me…Draco. He as well had his face buried in his phone.

‘yeah, I know..’
As soon as Draco sends the message his name is called. ‘Draco, your turn!’ pansy voice speaks up and taps him on the shoulder causing him to come back to realization and shut his phone off. He looks at me for a second before reaching out and spinning the bottle. I cross my fingers and hope it lands on me but at the same time, I would rather save myself from that embarrassment. It feels like the bottle spins for a millennium before finally stopping.
I feel my body heat up as I stare at the empty wine bottle pointing at me. I look at up Draco, locking eyes with him, and he starts to crawl toward me. I can feel my nose go pink. All of a sudden he's sitting in front of me with his hand on my face. Before I could take another breath Draco smashed his lips into mine and our tongues fought for dominance. The kiss only lasted about 30 seconds before I pulled away and Draco walked over to his seat with a wink. I sit in awl before looking up and seeing the two girls making out in the middle of the circle. I think about texting him before I feel the vibration of a text from my back pocket. I reach back and pull out my phone, it's him.
