張平凡是個隨處可見的普通男孩，
他比別人不同的只是他有著特殊體質，
一種能看見妖怪的特殊體質。
 
小時候的他害怕妖怪，不敢與它們接觸。
 
當時他打從心底裡覺得，看見妖怪是種不幸。
 
有一天，還是小學生的他在學校旅行期間，
被一群飢餓的野狗包圍，
剛好路過的青鬼對他伸出援手，
他因而得救並對妖怪另眼相看。
 
妖怪漸漸變成他生活的一部分。
 
然而，張平凡不單能看見妖怪，與其一同生活，
他後來更成為首位踏足妖界的人類。
 
這是一個關於妖怪們與他的奇幻故事。
