When Deila Clarke was seventeen years old, her mother died in front of her. Three years later she still hasn't found who killed her and she almost gives up, until a familiar face almost runs her over, and the next day she gets an invitation from the most influential family in town. Determined to find answers, she stumbles into a magical world surrounded by people who believe she is her mother. Now Deila must navigate this new world, lying to its inhabitants while still trying to piece together her mothers murder. With the past and present colliding, what will be left of Deila's future?
