#故事的故事 
其中一個最深刻的家庭回憶，就是端午節與家人在電視機看著有點事不關己的龍舟直播。對我而言，端午節是尋於家庭的節日，它不像新年中秋般明正言順，總帶著一點的距離。
《荷葉香》 也是一個這樣的故事，是有距離的家庭。《荷葉香》 說的也是一種被城市扭曲的思想，一種永遠「活在未來」的一種心態。這種心態多帶點憤世嫉俗，把當下的痛苦與不快都歸到「命運」這個單一原因上，以合理化當下的痛苦，支撐當下；所以他們從來都不會活在當下的時空，冷眼旁觀當下的一切，期望未來命運與他們同路的一天。這種逃避與期待的拉扯，塑造了阿荷的故事，也是很多由城市壓迫的很多人的故事。
