我一回到家中，看見弟弟和父親躺在床上睡覺，他們都患病在身，一早吃了碗粥便睡，只有我和媽媽吃飯。我們閒聊一會，問她姐姐幾時回來香港，正值暑假，機票價值頗貴，大概十月份乘機返回老家。我凝望父親那病懨懨的樣子，想叫他在家繼續休息。他帶病上夜班，兩個小時過後，吃點東西後服藥，樣子稍微有一點精神。
