witnessing her being.

Her silhouette

enlightened by the moonlight,

just as her body

complements

these pristine waters

leaving my mournful eyes

to stare

into the infinite.

Waiting

for her

to reemerge,

ravishing.

Reminding me

of the world

and its wonders.

The lotus.
