劉詩在父母意外死亡四年後，得知父母的死非意外。為了得知死亡真相，她一人踏上異國他鄉，在中國的某村落中，她追尋父母的足跡，依稀探尋到家族的過往，和自身具有靈異體質的原因，可惜線索中斷。

回台灣後沒多久，工作上立刻迎來好幾起重大死亡案件，身為記者的她被安排追蹤案件動向，經接觸一連串的死亡案件，和鬼魂提供給她的種種訊息後，讓她意識到背後的兇手竟與自己的家族有關......

父母的死、家族過往的歷史、與邪神交易的三人，交織成一張帶有貪婪、恨意的網。

劉詩想明白殺意的真正來源，為父母、為家族，也為身處道界邊緣岌岌可危的自己。
