Walking back to my desk a day later I'm met with a beautiful bouquet of red tulips in the palms of a smiling woman. “What a nice surprise I have here,” I put the files I was holding down on my desk before taking the flowers. I smile at the gesture having never received flowers genuinely unless it’s for persuasion.
